Jared William Stevenson proposed to me on Friday, October 16th 2015. It is an evening I will never forget. He took me dancing on the same boardwalk at the park that we first danced at. The playlist he put together for the evening was astounding, he continually amazes me, every single day. We danced in the beauty of the perfect evening as the sun was setting. The cattails standing tall in the pond added grace to the beauty of the night sky.
We walked around the park until Jared led me to a small dirt path into a heavily wooded area. Inside, there was an alcove with lights strung above, precious handwritten notes hanging from the trees, a blanket spread encircled with lit candles and dinner prepared.
After dinner we danced to sweet love songs and between songs Jared kneeled down and proposed. I said, “Yes.” Anyone who knows Jared has an idea as to the joy I feel, since he radiates his light to so many. I’m excited to be with Jared for the rest of our lives and eternity. We’d love to have you celebrate with us!
